Mark’s London to Paris cycle ride for Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity

Hi everyone, On June 22nd this year, I’ll be joining a 3 day charity cycle ride from London to Paris in aid of Bradford Children’s Hospital. I need to raise £1,250 for the charity before this date. If I don’t raise it all, I intend to make up the shortfall myself. This is where you can hopefully help me out by sponsoring me. All monies that I can raise up until this date mean that I will have less to add to it at the end. If we reach the target, I’ll put in an extra £100 on top. If anyone has any money raising ideas, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know. Manchester Velodrome

The first Manchester velodrome coaching session for the club is on Sunday 17th April 12 – 3pm. For 9 yrs – 16 yrs and places are limited so our riders will have to book on quick once the link opens on the BC events page as it’ll be first come first serve. All our riders will need to book into the Novice Group. Go-Ride Track Cluster Yorkshire 2 It would be good to get a good turn out from the club for the first session!!

Bronte Tykes (Wheelers) Winners 2015

It has been an successful weekend for a couple of lucky Bronte Tykes Riders. Sian Thompson and Archie Gill have been presented awards for their superb efforts for 2015. Archie Gill has been presented the Trophy for the Bronte Wheelers (Tykes) U10 Cyclocross Champ of 2015. Sian Thompson has been presented 2 Trophies and a Sheild for the Bronte Wheelers (Tykes) U8 Cyclocross Champ of 2015, and the Bronte Wheelers (Tykes) Most Promising Young Rider of 2015. The winners with the some of the Tykes.

IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ

Everyone at Bronte Tykes hopes you’ve had a great Christmas and New Year break, and we look forward to welcoming you back to our sessions. Following a successful 2015, where we experience phenomenal growth and really progressed as a club, we are looking to build on that in 2016. That success wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all club members and parents – thank you! This year we’ve got loads of exciting things lined up, and we’ve made a few changes to our programme which means the club really has got something for everyone. We’ve changed the times of our Saturday morning sessions at UAK. These are now held at the earlier time, from 10am to 11:30am. Happy New year!

Monday night training is back on, we are just running rollers/turbos this week NO OUTSIDE SESSION. Unfortunately Saturday 9th January Go-Ride Race is being rearranged as there are no coaches available. Saturday session is not going ahead either, if anyone feels like getting together and doing a family social ride, please let us know. We are back to normal Saturday 16th January 2016, hope you see you all then.
