Following on from last years’ successful Summer Camp, the club have decided to hold it again this summer. We’ve made a few tweaks and changes, but the format is pretty similar to last year.
This year we’re running it for 2 days, Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th August, from 9am to 4pm. It’s been held at the same place – the pump track area behind Crossflatts Primary School, which is accessed off the canal tow path between East Morton and Micklethwaite bridges, or from The Drive, Crossflatts.
The cost is £15 per day, discounted to £25 if you book both days.
Drinks and snacks are provided throughout the day, but each child needs to bring their own packed lunch.
The activities we are running over the two days include cycle coaching and racing, athletics, tennis, water games, cricket and rounders and a treasure hunt.
We are also having a BBQ on the Wednesday from 3pm – and would like to invite all parents and club members to come join us for it – just bring what food you plan to eat! BBQ food for children attending the summer camp is provided.
The Summer Camp is open to all Bronte Tyke members, although there is an expectation that children attending are able be left without the need for parental supervision, as we cannot provide care on a 1-to-1 ratio.
Booking forms will be available at our sessions, and here for you to print off. A deposit of £5 per child per day is required at the time of booking.
Ideally we’d like to know final numbers by Monday 21st August, so booking closes then, and full payment is required by that date
