There’s a couple of rides been arranged over the weekend, details below. These aren’t coached club rides, but are social rides arranged by parents.
Meet 10am, canal bridge at Bar Lane. Ride on canal to Apperly Bridge, where there is a café, calling at Roberts Park on the way too.
Meet 945am for 10am start at The Hub car park, Gisburn Forest. (£3 needed in change for car park charges).
As we’ve previously done, everyone will probably split into a couple of groups, and do a route around the forest that is suitable to their skill level, before all meeting back at the car park for lunch. If parents don’t want to ride the same course as their kids, there’s a few of the club volunteers who will look after them if they’re at a suitable skill level.
A few people are taking BBQ’s (the more the merrier, so if you have one bring it along too). If not, just bring whatever food you want to cook!
Dont forget here’s also the British Cycling Holiday coaching sessions on Good Friday and Easter Monday – details on previous post.
