Bike/Roller loan
We have a number of Scatto and Hoy Cyclo-cross club bikes to loan out for children wanting to get into racing, as a put me on before you might think of purchasing them their own bike. These are loaned out for a full winter and summer season on the conditions that the children attend regular sessions and compete in 70% of races. As these bikes are in very popular demand, if these conditions aren’t adhered to we will ask for the bike to be returned so it can be issued to other members.

We have some rollers to loan out to club members who attend the sessions. These are for children in school year 5 and above.

BSCA Membership
The club are paying the BSCA membership so if you enter any BSCA races we can give you the number. If you haven’t already given me your details please do so asap as the cards are getting sent out soon.

Consent/British Cycling Membership
I am in the process of updating the consent form if you have changed address or contact details please could you let me know at the session so we can make sure we have all the correct details.
If you have never had a British cycling membership please see me for a form. Youths get the 1st year free which has benefits of discount at Halfords, Chain Reaction and other outlets. It also includes insurance for the children while riding their bikes.

Session signing in/out procedure
We have reviewed the signing in at sessions. Can we ask that every child is signed in on the register, and before they leave please sign them back out so we can make sure the children are safe.

As all our coaches are volunteers and sometimes have a number of children to coaches at different levels and ability, could we ask if parents check with coaches before leaving the children that they are happy for them to leave.

Any questions please speak to one of the volunteers at the club or send an email to brontetykes@hotmail.com.
